This rug emerges from a collaboration between contemporary design sensibilities and traditional Tibetan-Nepalese knowledge, woven together in the high mountains of Nepal. It is entirely made by hand and on demand, with a quality and craftsmanship that is at odds with disposable consumerism.

Hand-knotted 100% Tibetan wool (cotton warp). For Odysée collection silk is optional. The rug is soft, durable and easy to maintain. Made in Nepal.
Standard Dimensions:
170*240 cm (excluding fringe which is optional).
Pile Height 9-12 mm.
Please allow +/- 2 to 8 cm tolerance on all rugs.

The Collector is in memory of the designer’s grandfather, who ́s butterfly and insect collections have been a source of inspiration throughout the years. Through a formal exploration of the symmetry found in wing forms of moths and cicadas these rugs pass on his appreciation of the beauty in nature ́s diversity.
